Prototyping Studies_ Responsive LEDs


Testing the Arduino setup within the plexiglass structure. The micro controller was coded and wired within the shell connecting to the sensor, the fan, and the LED lights.  This test code resulted in the various states the LEDs would take.  As the object is in its resting state (no input data collected by sensor), the LEDs would fade in and out.  As the Sensor collects data, the LEDs would be turned on to their full brightness.  The use of the LEDs in these various states were a way to give a certain living quality to the object (the fading in an out would mimic breathing, and when the lights turn on to full brightness, it would be as if the object was stimulated and woke from its resting state.)
